Hi, I'm Shannon and I'm so happy you're here! I started sewing rope in May of 2020 as a means to navigate the stay-at-home order when the pandemic first began. I was six months pregnant and had a nine month old at the time. Sewing rope quickly turned into a creative outlet for me after my daughter was born as I was dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety. It became my therapy! Having a hobby that grew into an actual business wasn't something I'd planned. But I am so thankful it worked out the way it did! 

Each item is handcrafted from solid cotton rope that is made right here in the USA. I hand dye all of my rope in small batches in our kitchen. And the final products are constructed on my sewing machine.
